The texture-gradient skin system lands on HordeTest, with a safeguard preventing absurd hues at spawn on official servers. Baryonyx gets its movement along the bottom of lakes and rivers, with a jump to start swimming. Camarasaurus and Avaceratops vocals enter concepting, and Parasaurolophus returns with its songs.
In The Isle Evrima, Baryonyx moves along the bottom of lakes and rivers rather than swimming at the surface. Running into water keeps it grounded — similar to Beipiaosaurus latching. It can jump to push off and swim normally, but stopping anywhere except the surface causes it to sink back down. This unique behavior reinforces its amphibious predator identity.
The Isle's May 2026 HordeTest flagged several Kentrosaurus bugs: incorrect reflection damage causing unintended hits, discrepancies between bite speed and damage output, inconsistent pin retaliation damage, and Herrerasaurus impaling on spikes with its drop attack. Stamina cost for body dragging was also removed.
The texture-gradient skin system in The Isle Evrima lets players customize dinosaur appearances with color gradients per layer. Available on HordeTest in May 2026, it starts with one theme per species (the default color palette), but the number of themes is set to expand significantly over time. Official servers include a safeguard preventing ridiculous spawn colors.
