Maiasaura
2nd largest herbivore in the game. Fast for its size but very hard to maneuver. Can switch between biped (claws) and quadruped (kicks) with CTRL/SPACE. Not recommended for beginners.
On La Meute QC's The Isle: Evrima server, Maiasaura sits at tier 5 with 3700 health, 40 damage and a 47 top speed. Play style: Sturdy herbivore — survival & defense. Recommended for Intermediate players.

The Maiasaura in The Isle: Evrima uses CTRL to switch to quadruped mode (back and lateral kicks) and SPACE to return to biped (360° arc claws). This is its signature mechanic and why it's not recommended for beginners. On La Meute QC, mastering this switch in combat is essential — quadruped mode gives access to the strongest kicks despite its only 40 bite damage.
With a pack limit of 9 — highest among herbivores — the Maiasaura in The Isle: Evrima is a herd monster. 9 Maias at 3,700 HP each represent 33,300 collective HP. Even a Rex or Deinosuchus won't charge a tight herd. On La Meute QC, Maia herds often use voice chat to coordinate group charges that topple predators.
The Maiasaura is difficult to pilot in The Isle: Evrima due to very slow turns except while sprinting and its negligible 40 damage bite. Its strength comes from multiple attack modes — but switching biped/quadruped in combat takes practice. At 47 km/h it's fast for its size, but its bulk makes it unwieldy in tight terrain. On La Meute QC, the Diabloceratops is recommended first to get comfortable with defensive herbivores.
