Kentrosaurus
New arrival on the Evrima Public Branch (patch 0.21.720). This small stegosaurid fights back instead of fleeing: its back and tail spikes deal reflection damage to anything that hits it in melee. Its Defensive Stance amplifies that reflection and blocks certain enemy abilities, while its Power Swing delivers a charged tail attack. In-game stats coming soon — tier and exact values will be adjusted once balance is confirmed live.
On La Meute QC's The Isle: Evrima server, Kentrosaurus sits at tier 3. Play style: Sturdy herbivore — survival & defense. Recommended for Beginner-friendly.

Defensive Stance (Ctrl toggle) increases the Kentrosaurus's reflection damage and stability, while blocking certain enemy abilities if they connect with its back or shoulder spikes. While in Defensive Stance, left-click triggers a defensive tail attack. It's the Kentrosaurus's main tool for deterring a predator instead of fleeing, added in patch 0.21.720 on the Evrima Public Branch.
Exact Kentrosaurus stats (HP, damage, stamina, speed) aren't confirmed yet — the dinosaur just landed on the Evrima Public Branch with patch 0.21.720. This page will be updated once official values settle in-game on the La Meute QC server. In the meantime, it's a mid-size defensive quadruped herbivore, a smaller cousin of Stegosaurus.
It is a tier 3 herbivore that forgives bad escapes, not bad positioning. Its reflection damage punishes any predator attacking in melee, without the player needing to aim. Its small frame next to the other spiked herbivores forces it to use terrain and cover, though: badly positioned, it loses the very advantage its counter-attack gives it.
