The Dilophosaurus hallucinogenic venom in The Isle: Evrima warps the target's vision and inverts movement controls — prey goes right when trying to go left. It's the most complete disorientation in the game. On La Meute QC, a prey poisoned by a Dilo in full darkness (max night vision) has virtually no chance to escape: it runs the wrong way without knowing it.
The Dilophosaurus max night vision in The Isle: Evrima is its most underestimated asset. Wait for full darkness (herbivores see very little), approach at 52 km/h in dark zones, poison the target, then let the hallucinogenic venom work while you stay at a safe distance. With 152 stamina and 150 bite damage, the Dilo can finish a disoriented prey efficiently. Avoid daytime fights — without its venom, its 1,200 HP aren't enough against a T4.
The Dilophosaurus works well both solo and in a pack of 4 in The Isle: Evrima, but in different ways. Solo, its hallucinogenic venom + night vision gives a tactical edge few T3s can match against isolated prey. In a pack of 4, it stacks poisonings on the same target and its 152 stamina allows relay harassment. On La Meute QC, solo night Dilo is one of the most enjoyable hunting experiences at tier 3.
