The Ceratosaurus bacterial bite in The Isle: Evrima inflicts a poison DoT that causes vomiting in the target — disorienting and progressively weakening. Combined with its 350 direct damage and natural armor, it's a mechanic unique to T4. On La Meute QC, the Cerato is feared for its ability to slowly drain even hardy herbivores without spending its own stamina (112).
The Ceratosaurus bone digestion in The Isle: Evrima lets it consume skeletal carcasses where other carnivores find nothing left to eat — and gain a nutrient buff from them. That's a direct survival advantage: on La Meute QC, carcasses linger long after fights, and the Cerato uses them to feed and recover its 2,250 HP safely while other predators have already left.
In static combat, the Cerato (2,250 HP, 350 damage, armor) outclasses the Carnotaurus (2,170 HP, 200 damage). Its bite damage is almost 75% higher. But the Carn has 62 km/h vs 45 km/h for the Cerato, and its bleed resistance gives an edge in specific matchups. On La Meute QC, the Cerato is preferred for prolonged fights, the Carn for quick ambushes.
