In The Isle: Evrima, each Troodon bite applies a venom dose to the target. In a pack of 8, eight Troodons biting simultaneously stack eight venom doses in seconds — the target rapidly loses HP through DoT. On La Meute QC, a pack of 8 Troodons can therefore kill a dinosaur far superior in HP, as 80 HP and 20 damage per individual become catastrophic multiplied by 8 with accumulated venom.
The Troodon vocal mimicry in The Isle: Evrima lets it imitate sounds of other species to lure or disorient prey. It's a unique psychological hunting mechanic — a Troodon can mimic a juvenile's call to lure an anxious herbivore into a pack ambush. On La Meute QC, it's one of the most underused T1 abilities, as few players know how to use it tactically.
Solo, the Troodon in The Isle: Evrima is useless against any T3+ predator or herbivore — its 80 HP and 20 damage aren't enough. Against a Hypsilophodon (20 HP, T1) or other T1s, it can win through venom and 48 km/h. On La Meute QC, playing solo Troodon is only recommended for practicing vocal mimicry or growing quickly (45min-1h30). Its real value is exclusively the pack of 8 with coordinated venom stacking.
