Palworld leaves Early Access: Pocketpair's 1.0 adds 72 new Pals (287 total), two regions — Sunreach in the sky and the World Tree — the Awakening and Mutation mechanics, a level cap raised to 80, wave-based base raids and a reworked multiplayer (dedicated-server voice chat, guild roles, safer saves). Here's everything that changes, and what it means for La Meute QC's Québec Palworld server.

Palworld 1.0 ends Pocketpair's Early Access. It adds 72 Pals (287 total), two regions — Sunreach, a sky archipelago, and the World Tree that closes the story — plus the Awakening and Mutation mechanics to strengthen your Pals. The player level cap rises from 65 to 80, base raids go wave-based, and multiplayer gains server-side voice chat, guild roles and saves less prone to corruption.
Sunreach is an archipelago floating above Palpagos, held aloft by Paldium, with its own Pals, tower bosses and the Soralite ore you can only mine there. The World Tree is the heart of Palworld's story and the game's biggest challenge: it holds Paloxite ore and the Radiant Gems needed for Awakening. Both zones open new expeditions and high-level endgame content.
They're two new ways to strengthen your Pals. Awakening uses Radiant Gems found in the World Tree to unlock a Pal's true power. Mutation happens during breeding: a low chance to hatch a Pal with higher stats and a unique passive skill. New cakes (mushroom, deluxe vegetable, special) raise the odds of mutation and of inheriting strong stats.
No, your old save (v0.7.3 or earlier) carries over. But the rebalance brings some resets: main and sub-mission progress is reset, as is bounty history. Accumulated XP is recalculated on the new table without lowering your level. In random-spawn mode, placement data from before v0.7.3 isn't carried over. If you spawn outside the new map boundaries, use 'Emergency Escape' in the options.
La Meute QC is opening its Québec Palworld server on 1.0. This version brings direct wins for a dedicated server: server-side in-game voice chat, guild roles with permissions, stronger shared-base security, saves less prone to corruption and wave-based base raids. Our fair-play PvP config builds on it: the PalDefender anti-cheat, and base damage permanently switched off since late July 2026. Connection details are on Discord.
