Leedsichthys problematicus
A giant filter-feeding bony fish, coming soon. A stretch goal from the Path of Titans crowdfunding campaign, it will be the largest playable creature in the game once added.
On La Meute QC's Path of Titans server, Leedsichthys (Leedsichthys problematicus) is a omnivore of the Aquatic class. Growth is earned by staying alive, with no teleport.
Leedsichthys is not a dinosaur — it is a giant bony fish (actinopterygian) of the order Pachycormiformes. In Path of Titans, it will have a filter-feeding playstyle: drifting slowly, gulping small organisms, and relying on its colossal size to deter predators.
Leedsichthys belongs to the family Pachycormidae, an extinct group of Mesozoic ray-finned fish. It inhabited the seas of the Mid-to-Late Jurassic in what is now the British Isles, Germany, Normandy (France), Argentina and Chile. An active filter feeder, it likely consumed zooplankton and small marine organisms, traveling long distances in search of food. Adults averaged 16–20 metres in length and around 43 tonnes — among the largest fish ever known. Fully grown individuals had few natural predators.
🦴 Full scientific profileNo — Leedsichthys was a stretch goal reached during the Path of Titans crowdfunding campaign (15th goal, ~$236K AUD), but it is not yet playable. It will be added after full game release. On La Meute QC, it will likely be the most imposing aquatic creature on the server once available, at 16–20 metres long.
No — Leedsichthys is a giant bony fish (actinopterygian) of the order Pachycormiformes, entirely unrelated to dinosaurs or archosaurian reptiles. In Path of Titans, it will be the largest playable creature in the game, a 43-tonne filter feeder that drifts slowly and intimidates through sheer size.
Unlike aquatic predators like Kaiwhekea and Eurhinosaurus (speed and attack), Leedsichthys will be a passive filter feeder — drifting slowly, gulping small organisms, relying on its 43-tonne mass to deter attackers. Its profile will be unique in Path of Titans: the first large playable with no direct offensive vocation.
