Barsboldia (meaning 'of Barsbold', a well-known Mongolian paleontologist) is a genus of large hadrosaurid dinosaur from the early Maastrichtian Nemegt Formation of Ömnögovi, Mongolia. Known from a partial vertebral column, partial pelvis, and some ribs. A close relative of Shantungosaurus and Edmontosaurus, it belongs to the subfamily Saurolophinae. Average adults reached 10–11 m (33–36 ft) and 5–6.5 tonnes; some estimates go up to 12–14 m (39–46 ft) and ~11 tonnes. B. gibbosi and B. dorsum are game-exclusive subspecies with no paleontological basis.
