Suchomimus ("crocodile mimic") is a genus of spinosaurid theropod that lived between 125 and 112 million years ago in what is now Niger, during the Aptian to early Albian of the Early Cretaceous. Named and described by Paul Sereno and colleagues from a partial skeleton of the Elrhaz Formation, its long, shallow, crocodile-like skull earns it its name; the species tenerensis refers to the Ténéré Desert. It belongs to the subfamily Baryonychinae, within the family Spinosauridae.
🦴 Full scientific profileIt's likely according to game data. Its land speed stat is 2/5 — same as Spinosaurus and Sarcosuchus, but its actual running speed values potentially make it faster than those two on dry land. On La Meute QC, this lets it hunt on land where Sarco and Spino struggle, while still being effective fishing in rivers.
Yes, Claw Barrage is a fast attack that increases in power with each successive hit — it's the claw-version combo. By alternating Claw Attack (high damage, 200 tokens) and Claw Barrage (ramping power, 500 tokens), Suchomimus can deal sustained damage on La Meute QC even without the best damage stats (3/5).
Suchomimus (damage 3/5) is less powerful than Spinosaurus (damage 5/5) but much more versatile: better on land, Slick Scales makes it anti-pounce (full immunity to grapples), and it has a group slot size of 4 vs 5 for Spino. On La Meute QC, Sucho is ideal if you want a spinosaurid capable of hunting both in rivers and on Riparia's banks.
