A very large semi-aquatic carnivore. Capable of huge damage, but slow and low on stamina. It is, however, surprisingly nimble in the water.

Spinosaurus is iconic for its humongous sail and eel-like tail. Its arms are large, though its legs are proportionately smaller than other big theropods. A small crest sits atop its slender snout, and its skull somewhat resembles a crocodile's at a glance.

Spinosaurus ("spine lizard") is a genus of theropod that lived in what is now North Africa, from the upper Albian to upper Turonian of the Cretaceous, about 112 to 93.5 million years ago. First known from Egyptian remains found in 1912 and described by German palaeontologist Ernst Stromer in 1915 — destroyed in World War II — it has yielded new material in the early 21st century. The best-known species is S. aegyptiacus from Egypt. Spinosaurus belongs to the tribe Spinosaurini, within the family Spinosauridae, of which it is the largest member. It was a massive predator 14–15 m long and 8.4–10 tonnes.
🦴 Full scientific profileYes: its stats show land speed 1/5 (lowest) versus water speed 5/5 (maximum). On La Meute QC, this asymmetry is critical — Spino must stay in or near water to be effective. Its damage stat of 5/5 is formidable, but it pays for it with very low speed on Riparia's shores.
Drenched Blows gives +20% damage against wet targets. On La Meute QC, this means luring prey into water before striking for a massive damage bonus. Combined with Slick Scales (bucking drains 30% more stamina from enemies), prey trapped in water against Spinosaurus loses both stamina and damage simultaneously.
Spinosaurus has a group slot size of 5 — like Sarcosuchus, one of the large carnivores with the biggest group size in Path of Titans. Lone Survivor (+10% armor solo) is an alternative if you hunt alone. In a group on La Meute QC, a Spino can control Riparia's rivers while land allies herd prey into the water.
