Deinonychus antirrhopus
Nicknames : Deinony · Deino · Dein · Deinon
A small terrestrial carnivore. Small and frail but extremely agile, it can cover an immense distance from a single leap. Unable to deal threatening damage alone, it relies on the power of packs to take down large targets.
On La Meute QC's Path of Titans server, Deinonychus (Deinonychus antirrhopus) is a carnivore of the Terrestrial class rated 1/5 for damage, 1/5 for defence, 5/5 for land speed and 5/5 for survivability, taking 1 group slot. Growth is earned by staying alive, with no teleport.
Despite nearing five feet in height, Deinonychus is small compared to Path of Titans' other playable creatures. This feathered raptor stretches its winged arms out whenever it jumps, and uses its large fanned tail as a display structure.

Deinonychus is a genus of feathered carnivorous theropod described by John H. Ostrom in 1969. It has a single species, Deinonychus antirrhopus, which lived during the Early Cretaceous about 115 to 108 million years ago (mid-Aptian to early Albian). Fossils have been recovered from Montana, Utah, Wyoming and Oklahoma, in the Cloverly, Cedar Mountain and Antlers Formations; teeth that may belong to it have been found much farther east in Maryland. Deinonychus belongs to the clade Eudromaeosauria, within the family Dromaeosauridae. Its name means "terrible claw" in Greek, referring to the sickle claw common among dromaeosaurids, and the species name antirrhopus ("counterbalancing") evokes the likely role of its stiff tail.
🦴 Full scientific profileYes — Lucky Feather is a non-removable passive that automatically saves you from one otherwise-fatal hit, leaving you at a sliver of health. On La Meute QC where growth is long and waystones are disabled, this "extra life" can mean the difference between starting over and escaping safely.
Pack Hunter is a passive that scales with group size: 1 member = +20% health recovery, 2 members = +20% damage, 3 members = -25% stamina drain. With groupSlotSize 1, Deinonychus can't form an official group, but still benefits from buffs when staying near allies. On La Meute QC, staying in a trio is the optimal configuration.
Yes — Slicer rips meat chunks from living targets to heal and restore food, usable in combat for 5 minutes. With Escape Artist, each ripped chunk gives +20% speed to flee. On La Meute QC, this is often the key ability: you can heal and escape simultaneously rather than standing still eating a corpse.
