A very large semi-aquatic herbivore. An effective fisher and a deadly underwater combatant, though it performs rather well on land too.
On La Meute QC's Path of Titans server, Deinocheirus (Deinocheirus mirificus) is a herbivore of the Semi-Aquatic class rated 3/5 for damage, 4/5 for defence, 2/5 for land speed and 3/5 for survivability, taking 5 group slots. Growth is earned by staying alive, with no teleport.
Deinocheirus is most recognizable for its distinctive hump-back appearance, its large arms and spoonbill-like beak. One of the largest herbivores in the game. It has a thin coat of feathering with large wing feathers and a tail fan, making it one of the few feathered herbivores in the game.

Deinocheirus is a genus of large ornithomimosaur from the Late Cretaceous, roughly 70 million years ago. In 1965, a pair of large arms, shoulder girdles, and a few bones were first discovered in the Nemegt Formation of Mongolia. In 1970 these became the holotype of the only species, Deinocheirus mirificus (Greek for 'horrible hand'). For nearly fifty years its nature remained a mystery until two more complete specimens were described in 2014 — parts had been looted and were repatriated that same year. A large herbivore of wetland and swamp environments, it fed on leaves and aquatic vegetation; its claws likely grasped vegetation but could also serve as weapons. It belongs to the family Deinocheiridae, the largest member of the clade Ornithomimosauria, weighing an estimated 5–7 tonnes.
🦴 Full scientific profileYes — Deinocheirus is officially the only playable semi-aquatic herbivore in Path of Titans. With 5/5 water speed and Drenched Blows (+20% damage on wet targets), it dominates water combat. On La Meute QC, it can take refuge in Riparia's waterways where most terrestrial predators lose their edge.
Yes — Deinocheirus is the only herbivore that can feed exclusively on fish via the Fisher metabolism. Technically omnivorous, it can switch between Herbivore (berries and fruit) and Fisher (fish only, moderate hunger drain). On Riparia, this dietary flexibility is a major advantage for staying fed without leaving the water.
Yes — Hiss reduces incoming damage by 15% for 75 seconds, a lengthy duration. Paired with Thick Down (+20% health regeneration) and 4/5 defense, Deinocheirus absorbs hits very well. On La Meute QC where dying means significant progression loss, activating Hiss before each shoreline encounter is strongly recommended.
