Yes — Tyrannosaurus rex and Velociraptor mongoliensis both lived in the Late Cretaceous (68-66 Ma). T-Rex was present in North America, Velociraptor in Central Asia (Mongolia). They did not share the same territory, but belonged to the same geological period.
No. The real Velociraptor mongoliensis measured about 1.8 metres long and 15 kg — the size of a large feathered turkey. The raptors in Jurassic Park more closely resemble Deinonychus antirrhopus (3.4 m) or Utahraptor ostrommaysorum (6 m), the largest known dromaeosaurid.
The pack hunting of Velociraptor, popularised by Jurassic Park, remains hypothetical. A single fossil shows a Velociraptor in one-on-one combat with a Protoceratops. Fossil evidence of coordinated hunting is rare. It likely hunted alone for small prey, using its retractable sickle claw to pin victims.
