Steam Summer Sale 2026 — our games on sale
The Isle at $17.41, HOI4 at $13.39, Victoria 3 at $20.09 — the Summer Sale hits nearly all our universes, and we checked every price
The Steam Summer Sale 2026 runs from 25 June to 9 July. The Isle is at -33%, Hearts of Iron IV at -80%, Victoria 3 at -70% and Space Engineers 2 at -20%. Path of Titans is not on Steam. Prices verified in Canadian dollars.

The Summer Sale is live — and it runs two weeks
The Steam Summer Sale 2026 started June 25 and runs until July 9 at 1 PM Eastern. Two weeks of discounts on more than 4,000 games, averaging around 45% with peaks of 90% on older titles. For the community, the appeal is direct: nearly every game we cover — The Isle, Hearts of Iron IV, Victoria 3, Space Engineers 2 — is on sale at the same time.
One thing to keep in mind: Steam dropped flash sales several editions ago. The price shown today is the same as on July 9. No need to panic-click — you can fill your wishlist, compare, and buy at the very end without losing anything. The only case where a price might dip lower is third-party reseller keys, at your own risk.
Our universes' prices, verified on June 25
| Game | Discount | Regular | Sale price (CAD) |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Isle | -33 % | 25,99 $ | 17,41 $ |
| Hearts of Iron IV | -80 % | 66,99 $ | 13,39 $ |
| Victoria 3 | -70 % | 66,99 $ | 20,09 $ |
| Space Engineers 2 (Accès anticipé) | -20 % | 40,99 $ | 32,79 $ |
Hearts of Iron IV at -80% is the obvious steal: $13.39 CAD for the base game of a 1936-1948 strategy title you play for hundreds of hours is a historical low. Victoria 3 at -70% ($20.09) follows the same logic — a Paradox game that grows with its updates, including the recent 1.13 Matcha patch. The Isle at -33% stays more modest, normal for a survival game still in active development and heavily played on our servers.
Space Engineers 2 is only at -20% ($32.79) because it's in early access: Keen Software plans to raise the price as features are added, and the game stays in Early Access through 2027. At this stage, it's a buy for those who want to follow development, not for those waiting on a finished product.
Path of Titans: not in the Steam sale
Important note for our survival community: Path of Titans isn't sold on Steam. The game downloads through the Alderon Games launcher (and on consoles/mobile), so it isn't part of the Summer Sale. If you see Path of Titans heavily discounted on a third-party key store, be wary — there's no official Steam key to resell. To join our realistic survival server, the game goes through Alderon, not Steam.
Buying smart during the sale
- Wishlist your games: Steam notifies you if a price moves, and you keep an overview before spending.
- Compare with GG.deals or IsThereAnyDeal: these tools show whether the Steam discount is truly the historical low or just decent.
- For Paradox games (HOI4, Victoria 3), also check discounted DLC: the base game on sale without its key expansions loses part of its value.
- No rush: the price won't drop further before July 9. Take your time to decide.
Our picks in the pack
If you only grab one: Hearts of Iron IV at $13.39 offers the best hours-per-dollar ratio of the whole selection, especially if WWII strategy clicks for you. For anyone wanting to try The Isle before joining our servers, -33% at $17.41 is a reasonable entry point. Victoria 3 is for economic and political management diehards — rewarding, but demanding. Space Engineers 2, we'd still wait: check back when it leaves early access.
